Bertrand Wittamer’s practice focuses on insurance and liability law, construction law, contract law and employment law.
Bertrand regularly acts for Belgian subsidiaries and branches of foreign insurance companies, as well as for insured companies, in complex disputes involving insurance coverage or the liability of companies at different levels:

Thanks to his knowledge of construction law and contract law combined with more than 20 years of experience with insurance and liability, Bertrand is ideally placed to advise his clients on complex issues of insurance coverage and to represent them in multi-party disputes.
Bertrand advises and represents a wide range of Belgian and foreign clients, including players in the construction sector (contractors, engineers, architects) and the services sector (distribution, IT, catering, media), and Belgian subsidiaries of international groups. He also drafts and negotiates their agreements.
In addition to his commercial practice, Bertrand is frequently involved in employment law, advising and representing clients especially in the following areas:
- Employment agreements and work regulations;
- Alternative forms of remuneration, variable remuneration and bonus plans;
- Prevention of psychosocial risks, well-being at work, harassment;
- Individual dismissals;
- Posting of workers;
- Protection of personal data and privacy.
